Our Coaches and Instructors
 
Ally Sillers - Level II National Canadian Coaching Program, Equestrian.  Ally has over 40 years experience with horses and 30 years working with children in The Canadian Pony Club.  She is a national Pony Club
senior examiner and has her NCCP Level III theory.  Ally attends clinics every year to maintain her coaching status and update her riding and coaching theory.

Ally's students have won Provincial Championships in Medal, Pony Hunter and Jumper. Many of her students have gone on in the industry as coaches, riders and equine massage. She coaches Kara Grant, a member of the Canadian Pentathlon Team, who attended the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. She is also an Equine Canada mentor and is working toward becoming a Master Course Conductor.



Sandra Michel - Barn Manager. Sandra attended Kemptville College in Ontario and has been working with horses for 20+ years.  She showed extensively on the NB show circuit as a teenager and has owned several horses.  Sandra taught at Royal Road stables before coming to Callander Hall.  Her skills and attention to detail have earned her the nickname "Super Sandra".  Sandra holds an English Instructor certificate.
Lisa Hupman - is an NCCP Level I Coach.  She ran the Coaching program at Royal Road for several years and worked as Ally's assistant at the FPC for 2 yrs.  Lisa works full time, so is only available for lessons on Sunday afternoons.
Melissa Bird - graduated from STU in the spring of 2006. She grew up around horses as a member of the Fredericton Pony Club for 11 years. Melissa began teaching beginners and summer camps there as a Jr. instructor under the direction of Ally. She also helped her to attain her C1 CPC level riding test there. After the FPC closed in the summer of 2002, she continued working for Ally in the fall of 2002 at Callander Hall, teaching beginners and helping to teach summer camp. Melissa holds an English Instructor certificate. Melissa is pleased to offer bilingual instruction.
Anne Goodyear - graduated from UNB in May of 2009. She holds an English Instructors Certificate. She started riding in 1995 and has been instructed by Ally since then. She was a student of the Fredericton Pony Club for 6 years then moved to Callander Hall when Pony Club closed. She has also ridden for two years in Nova  Scotia.




Ally grew up in Toronto and attended the Eglington Equestrian Club for 12 years where her coaches included Michael Herbert (Olympic 3 day team Coach), Robin Hahn (3 time Olympian, 3 World Cups) and Elizabeth McMullen (FEI Dressage Judge).  She has also been dressage and jumping team coach for the NB Atlantic Coast Games teams.  Ally is as comfortable teaching "munchkins" as she is her adults. She is the owner of Callander Hall Stables Inc.
